Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. His career began with the roles in TV shows, including Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Following appearances in several film for teens, such as 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Steve Rogers as Captain America was featured in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019, brought him more acceptance. His work on the Marvel series established him as one of the highest paid actors.
